Webinars and CPD (Continuous Professional Development)

We have a wide range of CPD resources available to our certified businesses that you can pass on to your engineers to support their learning and development.

For example, your engineers can book onto one of our The Wire webinars using your company’s NICEIC certification number and their own email address. You can also pass on your copy of Connections to employees so they can read our detailed technical articles, or forward on The Circuit e-newsletter so they can learn about upcoming regulatory updates and important information relating to your certification. You could also book your engineers onto one of NICEIC’s many training courses and qualifications for more formal recognition of their skills.

To find out about the full range of exclusive CPD resources we provide for our certified businesses, visit our CPD hub.
All live episodes of The Wire will be available to watch on-demand within 14 days.
Once you have watched a webinar, you will receive an email with your CPD certificate. Alternatively, there is a link in the top right corner of the page when you’re watching a webinar called ‘CPD Certification’, where you can find all your CPD certificates.
There are so many learning and development activities that can count as CPD – watching an episode of The Wire, reading the electrotechnical articles in NICEIC’s Connections magazines, receiving training from other colleagues and completing self-development learning in the electrical industry.

To find out more about the exclusive CPD resources NICEIC provides for its certified businesses, visit our CPD hub.
