The application process involves submitting your details and providing evidence of your relevant qualifications, experience and insurance via an online form.

If you have started an application but didn't finish, you can easily retrieve it. Simply check your email for a link to return to your application and pick up where you left off.

In addition to having the appropriate qualifications you also need to meet the appropriate level of experience for the scheme. For our electrical schemes this is a minimum of two years’ responsibility for electrical work and you must be able to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in the field.
You will also need to provide evidence of your insurance.
Does the business have a minimum of £2 million Public Liability Insurance and where appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance/Employers liability insurance?
Insurance must be appropriate to the risk, nature, scope and scale of work undertaken.

View our list of accepted qualifications, which vary for different schemes. These qualifications include a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation or equivalent and an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
