Certification NICEIC Certification will issue a Certificate of Competence to learners who successfully attain the required standard of assessment.

Assessment Information: The Part L qualification is designed for central heating installers that need to self-certificate their work via one of the Competent Persons Schemes (CPS).
 
The course covers the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations and the Technical Competency Requirements for Domestic Heating and Hot Water Systems for Energy Efficiency.  The course is aligned to the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and mapped by SummitSkills.
 
New boilers and system upgrades should be installed by a 'competent person' registered with a building regulations scheme operator or signed off by building control of the local authority.
