The thing about being an organisation that certifies others is that you have to maintain the standards that you expect of others. So, we’re accredited by UKAS – they’re the only National Accreditation Body for the United Kingdom, appointed by government to assess and accredit organisations like ours.

Our Statement of Impartiality  

One of the fundamental principles of third-party certification, so that the certification provides confidence, is that it is impartial and free from bias. 

In order to provide this confidence, it is essential that certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence of conformity and are not influenced by other interests. 

Certsure, trading as either NICEIC, NICEIC Certification, ensures that the certification it provides is impartial, by managing any potential conflicts of interest. 
 
We have established processes which ensure, irrespective of any assistance which may have been provided to develop or maintain the client's processes, that: 

• no advantage will be gained 

• certification will not be easier or cheaper 

• certification decisions will be based solely on the objective evidence gathered during assessment activities
