If you are interested in our Approved Contractor, Domestic Installer or Combined Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer bundle you can apply online either by completing the application form on the relevant scheme page or if you’re unsure what NICEIC certification scheme is right for you, use our online tool by clicking the buttons above to guide you through the most suitable options.
The application process involves submitting your details and providing evidence of your relevant qualifications, experience and insurance via an online form.

In addition to having the appropriate qualifications you also need to meet the appropriate level of experience for the scheme. For our electrical schemes this is a minimum of two years’ responsibility for electrical work and you must be able to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in the field.
You will also need to provide evidence of your insurance.
Does the business have a minimum of £2 million Public Liability Insurance and where appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance/Employers liability insurance?
Insurance must be appropriate to the risk, nature, scope and scale of work undertaken.
