The electrical industry keeps our world running, however, the individuals who keep our lights on and power flowing often face hidden challenges.

The electrical industry keeps our world running, however, the individuals who keep our lights on and power flowing often face hidden challenges. According to research carried out by IronmongeryDirect in 2023, 83% of UK electricians experience mental health issues related to work.

The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) provides crucial support for those working within the electrical and energy industries. Their services include mental health support, debt advice, and emergency financial assistance. That's why team NICEIC is going above and beyond to raise crucial funds for this incredible charity.

Here’s how they plan to do it

Several NICEIC team members (along with loved ones) will participate in a skydive on 24 May 2025. This daring feat demonstrates their dedication to the cause and the EIC's mission. And that’s not all. NICEIC Technical Director Paul Collins is set to undertake a 54-mile cycle ride from London to Brighton in September 2024.

Stay tuned throughout the year as we follow team NICEIC on their fundraising journey. We'll be sharing updates on their progress.
