Powering up your wellbeing with the Electrical Industries Charity
According to research from YouGov, 62% of tradespeople don't think we discuss mental health challenges enough as a society, making them 29% more likely to feel mental health is a hidden issue than the general population.
Not only this, but 51% of tradespeople think that society doesn’t take men’s mental health very seriously, demonstrating it’s more important than ever to support the industry to speak up about how we’re feeling.
That’s why we’ve created The Tools to Talk: the exclusive mental health and wellbeing support toolkit for NICEIC-certified businesses, in collaboration with the Electrical Industries Charity.

Quarterly mental wellbeing e-newsletter
We’re delivering an exclusive quarterly e-newsletter for NICEIC-certified businesses, co-produced by NICEIC and the Electrical Industries Charity. Packed with tips for supporting yourself and your team, our e-newsletter is designed keep mental wellbeing in the spotlight and remind everyone that it’s OK not to be OK.

Regular mental health webinars
We’re brining NICEIC-certified businesses regular episodes of our popular webinar series, The Wire, co-presented with representatives from the Electrical Industries Charity and tackling a wide range of topics relating to mental health and wellbeing. It’s a safe, non-judgemental space to discuss how you’re feeling and get the insights you need to keep your team fit and mentally healthy.
All NICEIC webinars can also be played back on-demand, enabling you to circulate relevant episodes with your team to watch back at a time that’s convenient for them
